A digital store is your own page on this directory where the things you actually have for sale are listed, one by one, with photos and prices. Someone searching for a copper kettle or a turquoise ring finds your item, sees it is yours, and comes to you. It is not a website you have to maintain, and it is not NARN’s checkout: if you take payment online, it runs on your own Stripe account. Your stock simply becomes findable by people who are already looking for it.
The easiest way to understand it is to look at one. This is a real store on the network, run by a real shop, with real items in it.
Shops whose trade is individual items sitting on a shelf: antiques and vintage, galleries and makers, boutiques, thrift and resale, estate sales, craft tables. If you have a booth in a mall, or dozens of one-of-a-kind pieces that no website could ever keep up with, this was built for you.
A digital store is $20 a month. After a six-month introduction, NARN also takes 5% of provable online sales: an item shipped, bought online and picked up, or sold through a want-list reply. NARN never charges a percentage on a walk-in sale at your counter. If your vendors list their own booths, each pays NARN its own flat monthly fee for the booth, agreed up front, never a percentage. We are not a booking agent.
